The Voyagers arrived in two groups; one in the morning and one in the afternoon. All tired but happy to be here. Rain and clouds greeted them, but the travel was uneventful for the most part.
The morning group heading out on the town as soon as they could. The area of the hotel is quite walkable and water is close by. The afternoon group arrived smoothly as well. They appeared even more tired and disappeared quickly to their rooms.
Some of us ventured out, and ended up in Gamla Stan. The Nobel Museum was the destination. Not a large, but a nicely packaged place. I was surprised by how many Nobel Prize awards connected to climate issues even years prior to our current situation. Work by these amazing people benefits us today in many ways with their applicability to water quality, energy generation, and climate-induced health concerns, among others. We all stand on the shoulders of giants, but these are the giants.
We gathered at 7 pm local time (1900 hours) for our orientation. All accounted for, so the Toppers at Sea roster in complete with fifty-five.
Tomorrow… Stockholm for all.
